Local Community Centers

Address

Saida, Lebanon

The “Local Community Center” (HFLCC) is a developmental model adopted by the Hariri Foundation since its inception to extend its services and programs to all communities and regions, particularly marginalized and densely populated areas. This approach enables the largest possible number of residents to access opportunities for social assistance, capacity building, and civic participation without bearing the burden of transportation or communication challenges.

The model aims to provide multidimensional services to local communities, encompassing educational, health, developmental, and socio-economic programs. These centers offer a safe space for local residents to connect, exchange experiences and knowledge, and benefit from the free services provided by the Hariri Foundation and its partners. The centers offer several activities such as receiving residents’ requests and addressing their social needs, reconciling local families, conducting rapid vocational and awareness sessions with experts and specialists, as well as organizing social and health activities. In 2024, 3 centers are operational in the Saida region:

HFLCC | Local Community Center – Taamir Ein El Hilweh

HFLCC | Local Community Center – Saida’s Historic Disctrict

HFLCC | Local Community Center – Helalieh
