Hariri Foundation announces the outcome of its health programs during May

“Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development” in cooperation with ‘Zakat Fund – Saida’ organizes a free health day on diabetes, heart disease and arterial pressure, on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, at the Zakat Fund Center in Wastani – Saida.
This health day comes within the framework of the Hariri Foundation’s mobile clinic and mobile medical unit program, and includes free medical examinations and consultations by specialized doctors, free diabetes and blood pressure tests according to the doctor’s diagnosis, and awareness about diabetes and hypertension, their risk factors and means of prevention.
The outcome of the Hariri Foundation’s health programs in May
The Hariri Foundation announced the outcome of the health program implemented in Saida and the neighborhood during the month of May 2024 through the Foundation’s “Hariri Social & Medical Center and Mobile Medical Unit”.
Mobile Medical Units
During the month of May, the Foundation’s free mobile clinics, in partnership with the Ministry of Public Health, examined 323 patients from citizens and residents, including those displaced from the southern regions, where they received medical examinations and primary care in the neighborhoods visited by the mobile clinics, namely: Al-Hilaliya (Ahlna Association), Al-Shahrbil-Baqasta (Dar Al-Salam Social Welfare Center of Al-Bahr Mosque Charity Association), Al-Wastani (Zakat Fund Center), Tameer Ain Al-Hilweh (Hariri Foundation Community Center), and Maksar Al-Abed (Hajj Bahaa Al-Din Al-Hariri Mosque).
School health
Within the school health program, the Hariri Social Medical Center, through the mobile medical unit, examined 640 students at Dr. Nazih Al-Bizri High School, where they underwent comprehensive medical examinations, vision and oral and dental health checks, and the vaccination record of each student to ensure that they received the necessary basic vaccines, vaccinate those who were not vaccinated, and refer those who need health follow-up to the Hariri Social Medical Center.
Patient Transport Program
The mobile medical device carried out 64 patient transport missions in the city and its suburbs as part of the free patient transport program for non-emergency cases (hospitalization, dialysis, and people with special needs) in Saida and its vicinity from home to hospital and vice versa.
