Address
Saida, Lebanon
In 2001, the Hariri Foundation established the School Network of Saida & Neighboring Towns with the aim of strengthening partnership and coordination between public, private, and vocational institutes, within the ultimate goal to promote educational justice and the democratization of education.
The network includes almost 100 schools, comprising an estimated 55,000 students and 5,000 teachers. The network seeks to enable partnerships for development and civic engagement among member schools and their constituents (administration, teachers, students, parents, and the local community) through joint programs and activities every year.
The network seeks to enhance dialogue and coordination among member schools on pressing and emergent topics, challenges, and potentials in the educational sector and crosscutting domains. The network program offers diverse capacity building, educational, exploration, engagement, and wellbeing activities for staff and students.
